I have been satellite climatologist during 2008-2015 and team leader in the climate division since then.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gsfc.nasa.gov\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-116\" title=\"nasalogo\" src=\"https:\/\/bluemarble.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/nasalogo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"88\" height=\"75\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>NASA\u2019s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Greenbelt MD, USA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GSFC manages many of the space agency&#8217;s Earth observation, astronomy, and space physics missions.\u00a0\u00a0I have been associated with GSFC during the time period 1998-2010.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usra.edu\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-120\" title=\"usralogo\" src=\"https:\/\/bluemarble.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/usralogo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"98\" height=\"75\" \/><\/a><strong>Universities Space Research Association (USRA), Columbia MD, USA\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>USRA provides students with the opportunity to work at NASA. I&#8217;ve worked for USRA during my practical internship at NASA\/GSFC during 1998, by carrying out scientific work in Dr. Fritz Hasler&#8217;s Laboratory for Atmospheres (NASA\/GSFC Code 912).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ssaihq.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-119\" title=\"ssailogo\" src=\"https:\/\/bluemarble.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/ssailogo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"97\" height=\"75\" \/><\/a><strong>Science Systems and Applications Inc. (SSAI), Lanham MD, USA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SSAI has been a leading provider of scientific, technical, and research support services, primarily to Federal science agencies like NASA.\u00a0SSAI served as subcontracting agency for my ongoing collaboration with the NASA Earth Observatory team (NASA\/GSFC Code 913).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sigmaspace.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-118\" title=\"sigmaspacelogo\" src=\"https:\/\/bluemarble.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/sigmaspacelogo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"161\" height=\"70\" \/><\/a><strong>Sigma Space Corporation, Lanham MD, USA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sigma offers excellence in aerospace technology to its customers by use of integrated solutions &#8211; from requirements definition and design concept, to product development, integration and testing.\u00a0Sigma Space served as subcontracting agency for my ongoing collaboration with the NASA Earth Observatory team (NASA\/GSFC Code 913).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.paneco.ch\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-117\" title=\"panecologo\" src=\"https:\/\/bluemarble.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/panecologo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"140\" height=\"70\" \/><\/a><strong>Paneco, Stiftung f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung\u00a0und interkulturellen Austausch Berg am Irchel, Switzerland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PanEco is an international non-profit foundation with headquarters in Switzerland. Their work focuses on nature conservation and environmental education in Indonesia and Switzerland. Blue Marble Research created satellite-based climatological analyses of deforestation and climate change over northern Sumatra (Indonesia) for Paneco.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoo.ch\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-121\" title=\"zoologo\" src=\"https:\/\/bluemarble.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/zoologo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"161\" height=\"70\" \/><\/a><strong>Zoo, Z\u00fcrich, Switzerland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Zoo Z\u00fcrich is one of the most impressive zoos in Switzerland and includes a tropical greenhouse replicating a rainforest in the Masoala national park of Madagascar.
